I will be provided two complimentary tickets to the Southern Ideal Home Show in exchange for this post.
There is nothing I love better than to kick back and watch HGTV. I love shows like Flip or Flop, House Hunters, and Tiny House Hunting. I am always looking for ways to upgrade our home for less. And I totally can’t wait until the Southern Ideal Show comes to Raleigh. It will be here in September. Here is a brief description of what the show is all about.
The Southern Ideal Home Show, the Triangle’s largest home and garden event, is gearing up for its fall show Sept. 23-25in Raleigh. The three-day showcase will be held at the NC State Fairgrounds and will feature more than 300 top area professionals in home and garden.
One of the headliners of the show will be Boyce Thompson, author of The New New Home, presenting 10 of the most innovative new home products for 2016. Many of the products are easy for homeowners to install themselves and include robots that monitor indoor air pollution, 3D printers that print actual homes, countertops that charge phones and more. Guests will be able to tour an interactive exhibit where they can touch and try these life-changing products. I totally can’t wait for this exhibit.
In addition to the cutting-edge home items, the Showcase of Local Artists will make its debut at the fall show. Held in the Exposition Center, the showcase will feature 10-15 talented local artists from the Triangle with their work available for viewing and purchase. I am all about supporting local artists. And back by popular demand, Brews and Bites, where guests can enjoy locally-crafted beers with savory foods created by top chefs and businesses in the Triangle, is returning to the show for a fourth time.
Guests are encouraged to come with their to-do lists as this year’s show will feature more ideas and solutions than ever before. The show will spotlight what’s trending in home improvement, building, kitchen and bath, outdoor living, interior decorating and more. Don’t miss old favorites such as shopping the Partners in Design Sale and Ask TheHomeMag Aisle and get a head start on your home projects by registering here for a chance to win a $1,000 Shopping Spree to shop the show.
