How to Make A No-Sew Camera Strap -

I recently partnered with Wholeport to get my creative juices going. Each month I am able to pick out what I want to receive in my sample pack. Sometimes I just pick out something because it catches my eye hoping that I will be inspired when the sample pack comes in. This was the case with this month’s sample pack. I received several cute fabric samples. And once I got my hands on those the creative juices started flowing. Today I am going to show you how to make a no sew camera strap.

Now mind you, I did not set out to make a no sew camera strap, I actually had planned on sewing it but if you remember my sewing machine had other ideas. LOL When I first started to sew the cute fabric to make my camera strap, the needle broke and popped up and hit my face. Now normally I would have been so frustrated, that I would have just stopped but I was bound and determined to make a strap for my camera. I had always wanted something different for my camera and with this partnership with Wholeport; I can do creative stuff like that. So I thought to myself what to do and then came the idea to hot glue. It turned out amazing.

First I had to measure the fabric and cut it to the length of the camera strap.

Then I folded over the fabric at the two ends and applied hot glue. Then using the hot glue and working in sections I then glued one side down and then the other side. Then I hot glued the two sides together. After I did that, which was really easy, the hard part came threading the original strap through the crafted one. We ended up taping it to a stick and pulling it through. Here is the finished product.
