Guest Post: Clean your house effectively

There are so many details about a house cleanup that no article can really list them all, but this one will try to focus on the ways to clean your home efficiently and stress-free. A house clean depends on what kind of cleaning the homeowner is doing: a daily one, a spring cleaning, a move out or settling down cleaning. Based on the type of cleaning there are many tasks to take care of. Doing a house cleaning doesn’t have to take much time, energy or resources. Managing well is more about using the right techniques than investing lots of money and time. The most regular house cleaning is the routine one, done on a weekly basis.

One of the chores which is quite physically demanding is cleaning the bathroom. Place your detergents and tools next to the shower/tub area and remove all the items from the floor. In order to have a full cleanup you need to empty the bathroom. First rub the shower/tub with an all-purpose cleaner, wait for a few minutes and then wipe down with a sponge. After that, proceed with cleaning the sink and the mirror. Dust the closet (if there is one) and apply a special detergent on any persistent stains.

After you finish with the bathroom, move to the bedrooms. Dust the furniture, vacuum and mop the floors and throw away any trash. Pay attention to all the horizontal surfaces, small ornaments, mirrors, paintings’ frames. If you use a dusting rag it will save you energy and you will be able to reach more surfaces. Leave the hallway for last, so you don’t spread any dirt while walking from room to room. It is best to always dust furniture before you vacuum the floors.
Make sure you don’t overlook the kitchen. Many people assume that their kitchen is always going to be somewhat dirtier than the rest of their rooms, because that’s where they cook, keep food and eat. However, it is essential that this is also the cleanest room in the house. Dust and germs can harm the food which also harms your health. A kitchen should be dusted, vacuumed and mopped once every few days. Check the fridge for any gone off food and clean the shelves regularly. Make sure you find time for a full stove and sink cleanup at least once a week. These tasks may take time and energy, but it’s a must to do them regularly. Remember to dust the furniture and clean the upholstery and cushions. Find some time to wash the windows and get your family involved to speed up the process. As long as everyone at home is helping with the cleaning it will be much easier to manage with the tasks. Having a checklist of daily and weekly chores will help you avoid the usual cleaning day (Saturday or at worst, the whole weekend). If you follow a good cleaning routine every time you clean the house you will see that it doesn’t take that long and it can actually be an enjoyable experience.
The feeling after a full house clean is amazing – you get to sit on clean furniture, you have everything organized and neat, the rooms smell fresh, the toilet and bathrooms are clean and it simply feels right to be in such an atmosphere. Cleaning doesn’t have to be a burden, but a chore that makes your home a better, cleaner and healthier place.
