Looking for a cool way to tell mom how much you love her this mother’s day then look no further than these easy craft for moms. I know as a mom I love it when my girls put some thought behind their gifts, and I love homemade gifts the best of all. Anything that tells me they put thought and time into a present is pretty awesome in my book. Here are two really cute crafts to make for moms.
You can’t go wrong when you make your own coupon book for Mother’s Day. These are great not only can they be personalized but you can easily use a scrap of old cardstock to make a cover for it.
I literally had my youngest make this book from mother’s day coupons I found online. She printed out the coupons, cut the coupons out and designed the cover. She is totally the artist in our family. She then punched a hole through the cover and coupons and ran a ribbon through the hole. Making a really cute booklet that is not only thoughtful but creative as well. Her artwork is something I will treasure for the rest of my life.
Another idea is to print out a cute printable, put it into a frame that you can get at the dollar store. Then you jazz up the frame with some washi tape or a lovely flower or bow. The sky is the limit on this one. Use your imagination and go crazy.
Mother’s day is not about how much money you spend on a gift but rather about how much thought goes into the gift. So tell me do you make your own gifts for mother’s day or do you spend money and go for broke. Remember it is the thought that counts and simple is sometimes best.
