Bloggers Beware of This Company

Hi, Guys me again coming to you with another friendly warning.Recently I wrote an article called Bloggers Beware. In this article, I told you about companies that want to send copies of your identification such as driver’s license, passport,  or state ID to verify your identity. This time, I’m going to tell you about a company that contact you to place an ad on your blog, pushes you to get it up, and then refuses to pay for the ad.

The company I’m talking about is called Mega  Ads Company wanting to place an ad for Coupon Code Zone. Below you will see a series of emails between myself and the representative. Never once did this representative mention anything about needing approval before an ad goes live instead you will see, how I was told that that once the widget was live I would be paid immediately.

It wasn’t until last night that I was aware of a problem. They told me to take down the widget they forced me to install down saying they couldn’t link to it, yet they were able to see that there was a widget installed.

Folks, I didn’t know about you but nothing makes me madder than having a company contact me out of the blue wanting to work with me, I do everything they ask and they then say sorry but for whatever reason they can think of, they can’t pay. To me, that is a breach of contract and fraud. I forwarded these emails to the authorities, reported them to the better business bureau, and also warned other bloggers about their tactics. That is the main reason I am writing this article to warn other bloggers about their practices, so they don’t get swindled like I did.

questions to ask companies printable

I decided that this is another question I need to add to my checklist when companies contact me out of the blue wanting to work with me. So  I  came up with this printable checklist, so other bloggers know what questions that need to be asked when a company contacts them.

So tell me have you ever been swindled by a company? Share your story below so others will know not to work with them.
