An Adventure: Seeing The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

Today was an adventure that I though tI would write about before I started telling you what has been happening in my life lately.  As I have said before I have taken a long term position until Christmas in a wonderful 3rd grade class. These children have got to some of the sweetest at the school. I had the privilege to accompany them to a play. The play was The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. It  has been a favorite of young readers the world over since 1972. Funny, memorable, and outrageous, it is the story of a family of incorrigible children who get involved in the annual Christmas pageant for the first time. This play was awesome it was just long enough to tell the whole story but short enough one hour long to keep the children’s attention. I even found myself laughing from time to time.
The performance was at Progress Energy Center for The Performing Arts in Raleigh.  Below is a picture of the center.

This is the Meymandi Concert Hall which is also a part of the Center.
Beautiful isn’t it.

So tell me what plays have you seen lately?
