A Different Kind of Hero eBook Blog Stop

Today I am happy to be the next stop on the blog tour for A Different Kind Of Hero written by Leah Beth Evans. For let me start off with a question have you ever in your life wondered why you were made and what is so special about you? Do you look at your friends and think  wow I want to be more like them? Well that is exactly what Tomagochi, a small brown monkey feels like in this story.
Tomagochi compares himself to his friends and wonders what his purpose in life is and why he is just  a plain “Jane”. He soon finds his purpose when the rain forest is threatened. To find out what he does make sure to pick up a copy of A Different Kind of Hero.

First let me say that I love this story. Then when I saw that it was written by Leah Beth Evans, who is a fourth grade student, it peaked my interest even more. It is amazing how insightful that children can really be. Having a fourth grader myself, I am amazed at some of things that Gracie comes home telling me about the children at school. This is an awesome book to give to a child who is struggling to find their purpose for being on this earth.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. Melissa, thanks for pointing out how Tomagochi helps all of us to seek what makes us different and special from everyone else. I'm glad that having a daughter who is a 4th grader prompted you to check out “A Different Kind of Hero” which was written by Leah Beth while she was in the fourth grade. She is now currently in high school, and I know she will be glad that she inspired another young person out there.
