25 Ways to Incorporate the Bible into Your Homeschooling

homeschooling

Incorporating the Bible into a homeschooling curriculum, and everyday lives is so important to most families. Scripture makes it clear that a mother and father are to teach their children, so that is exactly what we do for our little ones. Receiving a good education is vital, and we intend to make sure that’s exactly what we give to our children. Even though my girls go to public school, I have often toyed with the idea of homeschooling them. I still supplement what they learn in public school in other ways.

Homeschooling can take up a lot of time if you don’t plan ahead of time.  The Bible clearly instructs us to train up a child, so that’s what we do! One thing I’ve found that helps when I have more “stuff” to do, and they still need to do schoolwork, is filling time with games they can play on their own or with each other is an awesome way to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

If you don’t already used a Bible-based curriculum, I highly recommend it! Even if you hadn’t considered it before, it’s something worth looking into. Many homeschooling parents choose to piece everything together from various sources to tailor to their child’s homeschooling needs. Whether you go with a full curriculum or do your own thing, here are 25 ways you can incorporate the Bible into your homeschool!
