Overcoming addiction is a challenging process that requires determination, a solid support system, and access to the correct information. Whether the nature of the addiction is dependence on substances like drugs and alcohol or compulsive behavior like gambling, the good news is that it is not a life sentence. However, it may be a long and overwhelming process. If you have made up your mind to fight the battle, below are ten addiction recovery strategies that can empower your journey.
