I know most of us are familiar with using lemons for cooking or soothing a sore throat. Well the next time you head to the store, you may want to stock up on those lemons. I want to share my top 5 ways I like to use lemons there are tons of other ways to use lemons but these are my favorites.
Freshen up cutting boards
Take a lemon, cut it in half take it and rub it all over cutting board it also helps to sanitize it. Removes those onions and fishy smells.
Lightens age spots
As we get older, we get freckles and brown spots if you have ever priced the creams in the drug stores they are so expensive. So I gave this a try you can do this one of 2 ways just rub lemon on the areas you want, let sit for 15 minutes and risen odd or for people with sensitive skin, mix some honey with the lemon it works great.
Because they contain citric acid cuts right through that grease, add a few drops of dish soap and a few drops of lemon juice mix with a 1/2 cup of vinegar in a spray bottle shake it up well and spray away that grease super easy.
Are you dealing with dry skin? Mix equal amounts of lemon juice and honey and apply on your face and neck. After 10 minutes, rinse off with cold water. Lemon contains hydroxyl acid, which is highly valued in many beauty products. If you have sensitive skin, make sure to test in a small area first.
Lemon juice isn’t a preventative, but it’s great for removing existing flakes. Massage it into your scalp, leave on for ten minutes and shampoo as usual and boy does it work.
