Easy Cronuts

Picture this: biting into warm, freshly baked cronuts with its delicate layers shattering under your teeth and giving way to a rich, creamy center.

Equipment

  • 1 deep frying pan
  • donut cutter
  • baking sheet
  • small whisk

Ingredients
  

  • Canola Oil
  • 3 cans Crescent sheets
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Add your oil to your frying pan.
  • Heat oil in a large, heavy frying pan to 350 degrees.
  • Line a baking sheet with paper towels.
  • Open the can of crescent sheets and place them on a cutting board.
  • Place 5 sheets on top of each other.
  • Use a donut cutter to cut out the donuts.
  • Drop crescent donut dough into the hot oil.
  • Fry approx 90 seconds on each side or until golden brown.
  • Place on a paper towel to drain.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon using a small whisk.
  • Toss the donuts in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Place the donuts back on a separate baking sheet.
