Make Your Own Taco Seasoning
In the past, I have thought nothing to throw convenience items in my cart when I was shopping for groceries. I would justify it by saying why waste my time making it if I can buy it. But then I realized I was really throwing money down the drain. Think about it how many of you purchase the taco seasoning mix packet. Raising my hand because I am guilty but when I realized how easy and quick it was to make at home. I am never going back to store-bought. And to be honest, my family didn’t even taste the difference so score one for mom.
To buy all the spices, it can be expensive at first but think about how many packets you will get out of those spices.
So here is my recipe for homemade taco seasoning.

Wow, I should make my own, I always get a small pack of taco seasoning for whenever I make chipotle bowl and tacos. Now this is perfect. I know what are the contents of taco seasoning.
We only use up about half of the package of taco shells when I buy a kit, so I am always “1 short” of a seasoning envelope. I’m going to bookmark your recipe and use it the next time I want to make tacos and don’t have an envelope. Great idea! #HomeMattersParty

I started making my own taco seasoning a few years ago, after learning about all the unhealthy ingredients in the store bought kind. I just use chili powder, cumin, and oregano. Pinning this to my recipe board for a different twist! #HomeMattersParty
