Make Your Own Santa Can
I have always looked for unique ways to wrap presents. No matter the occasion I am always looking for something different. From ribbons, to fabric, to making my own wrapping paper, I have done it all. But have ever heard of using duct tape to wrap presents.Well not to use it as wrapping paper but to create a unique wrap that can be the gift itself. Here are the things you need to make this cute Santa can.
- Small paint can
- red duct tape
- black duct tape
- gold glitter glue cardboard cutout like a belt buckle
- part of a feather boa
- glue
Once you have all of these materials here are the step by step instructions.
- Cut a piece of cardboard into a belt buckle shape.
- Add glitter to the cardboard belt buckle.
- Set aside and let dry. (You can also use glitter felt if you can find it in silver or gold.)
- Cover the whole can with red duct tape.
- Then in the middle place a strip of black tape all the way around.
- Add belt buckle to the middle of the black duct tape.
- With glue go around the top of the can and attach the feather boa.
Then viola, you have a cute Santa can to give as a gift or to use to wrap a gift- 2 gifts in one. This would be great to put homemade goodies in.
