Lastly, don’t be afraid to paint old cabinets. It can significantly improve the look of your kitchen.

Change Out Cabinet Hardware

This isn’t something you want to do your cabinets need to be replaced soon. However, if your cabinets are good quality, paint, and new hardware can work wonders. If new hardware isn’t in your budget, you can purchase a wax metallic finish at your local craft store to redo your old hardware for pennies.

Install a Backsplash

A backsplash can be purchased with any budget. You can buy inexpensive peel-and-stick splashback, use tile, or even have one of these glass white splashbacks installed. Your kitchen doesn’t have to be boring, ugly, or dated. All it takes is a bit of work to turn your kitchen into a room that you’ll love spending time in. Whether it’s new hardware or artwork, you can add little touches that will completely change the look without spending a fortune.
