Hey Folks,
Allie here again. Let me tell you about what I have been doing lately. You know when the new year comes around everyone makes new year’s resolutions or say they are going to change things in their life. Well, guess what my mommy decided for me. Yep, you guessed it she made a resolution for me. ( Can you believe the nerve of her?) I will admit that I was a little angry with her, to begin with, but once I started the PURINA ONE® 28-DAY CHALLENGE, and once I tasted Purina ONE® Lamb & Rice (the 8 lb bag) I was like ok I am up for the challenge. Plus the fact that she can buy it at Walmart instead of ordering it online like with my other food is a huge plus.
The first few days of the challenge were like slow days for me. I wasn’t eating only the Purina food, My mommy mixed it with my regular food so that I wouldn’t get an upset stomach. Once, I got used to the new food, it was like there was a party happening around every corner. Well, not really but I think you get the idea. I was excited to be alive.

In fact about the 2nd week of the challenge, around day 7I actually got a little naughty. I love going to check the mail with my people. It is my favorite thing to do during the day. I also know the rules but because I was feeling so energetic I forget them. Let me set the scene, my mom and I went to check the mail like always but then I decided that I wanted to run down the driveway, I almost got to the road but then I heard my mommy make that noise she does when I get to close to the road, and I thought to myself wait for a second, should I be doing this? And the answer that popped into my head was nope. So I turned my little butt around and ran back up the driveway. But I did get a scolding from my mommy. I understand why she was mad at me because she didn’t want me flat as a pancake on the road.
The fourth week, I was feeling super cute and couldn’t wait to get my picture taken, maybe I will be picked up to be a doggy model. Yep, I was totally feeling myself. That made me think about what kind of platform I would want to be a doggy model for – and that was super easy seeing that all my furry sisters and furry nephews were all adopted as strays. My platform would be – adopt don’t shop. I know what you are thinking, wait you are a Shih Tzu, Allie. And yes I am, but I was a Shih Tzu who couldn’t find a family to love them until my family adopted me as a puppy. Yes, they got me a puppy and I was one of two girl puppies that weren’t selling so they decided to give me and my real sister away. So you see I was adopted as well. And I thank God every day that my sister, Mikaela, who was afraid of dogs picked me. It was love at first sight. All furbabies deserve that love.
