Ways to Become A Guest Hosts Love
With a lot of us travelling to see family this holiday season, it got me thinking when we visit family and friends what kind of guests are we really. Are we the kind of guests that our hosts love to have or are we the kind they dread when they see us driving into the driveway. I hope that we are the kind of guests that hosts love. Here are some simple tips that will help you become the guest that your friends and family will beg you to visit.
- First say thanks. A simple thank you goes a long way. Thank your host often for everything from the food they serve or whatever else they offer, even it is just a helpful tip. In addition to saying thank you come bearing gifts. Here is a tip wine is great hostess gift.
- Clean up your own mess. Basically if you make a mess clean it up. You can do this by sweeping up the crumbs after meals, offer to help clear the table and do the dishes. Don’t leave your dirty laundry all over the place.
- Spend your own money. Do not let your host pay your way, you pay your own way. Pick up the tab for dinner if you happen to be out or offer to buy groceries as way of saying thank you.
- Cook meals. Either prepare a dinner by yourself or offer to help with the preparation.
- And the last tip is the most important. Provide privacy for your host. That means no snooping. Ask before you use anything. Close your door and curtains, and in the same respect, Respect closed doors. Don’t wander around in the middle of the night and especially not in your pajamas or naked LOL
