Popcorn was one of my dad’s favorite treats. Sometimes the girls and I would leave a bag out forgetting to throw it out and the next day, my dad would stop by. He would open the bag and eat it. It didn’t matter that it was stale. It was popcorn.

Nowadays popcorn comes in so many flavors and kinds. But the one thing I love more than anything is that fact that most companies are going organic when it comes to popcorn.

Cosmos PuffCorn

Just recently we took a trip to Carowinds and the beach and I had to pack snacks. Cosmos Creations Puffcorn was one of the first things on my list. It’s not popcorn, it’s a premium puffed corn – no hulls or kernels!  This product is gluten- free and trans- fat-free. Remember I told you that we are trying to eat healthier around here. And this is definitely healthy.

I love that Cosmos has so many flavors, I mean just look at the list

  • Cheddar & Pepper
  • Salted Caramel (which is Gracie’s Favorite- think healthy version of Cracker Jack)
  • Caramel Apple Crisp
  • Sea Salt & Butter
  • Spicy Sriracha

I will have to admit that the Salted Caramel version was also my favorite. It took me back to the time when I was a little girl in pigtails going with my dad to see the Boston Red Sox play at Fenway Park. I loved that place. It wasn’t because I was a die-hard baseball fan. It was one- being able to spend time with my dad, a Daddy’s girl here and the food.

C’mon I think about half of the fun of going to sporting events is the food. I remember a time when the vendors would call out “Popcorn, Get your Popcorn here.” There was just something about being at a ball game and eating ballpark food that just made everything taste so much better.

So tell me what is your favorite kind of ballpark food?
