Spaghetti and Meatball Pie

This post was made in conjunction with Calphalon cookware.

Wow, where has the time gone? It just seems like yesterday my girls were born. Now two are in college and one is a sophomore in high school. It just doesn’t seem possible. Yesterday, I was talking with my boss Emily about how fast our kids are growing up and she said how is that possible when we are still 29? Got to love her sense of humor. One of the things that I want my girls to know is how to cook simple but nutritional meals, I mean one can only eat Ramen Noodles for so long. And it doesn’t get any simpler than spaghetti and meatballs, even though this was the one dish that my Grandma Greene could never make right.

And I love that in sharing this recipe, I can also share my love for Calphalon cookware. Not only is it durable but so versatile as well.  I mean a 5-Qt Saute Pan with a Cover that I can use not only on the stove but in the oven as well. And with my older two in college and on a budget, they have to stretch their money so a pan that can be used multiple ways is a must for the college student on a budget.

So back to the Spaghetti and Meatballs recipe. I wanted to show them something that they can make with a little twist to it. So that is when I came up with the Spaghetti and Meatball Pie.
