Soccer Mom Office On the Go has to be Fierce

With all the traveling that we do for my daughters’ games and me being the appointed “Team Soccer Mom” sometimes I have to work on the fly. Because let’s face it there aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done and if you add traveling time in the car there is even less. So I have had to come up with my soccer mom office on the go bag. It is very easy to make and contains all the items I need to get the job done.

First off I need a big enough tote that  will carry everything including snacks. I love how big this tote it and that it has a magnetic closure just in case all my stuff doesn’t fit then I don’t have to be bothered with getting the zipper closed.

Then, of course, I have to add my wallet in there. I love the flat design of it. I just got it a while ago and I love that it is so much smaller than my other wallet that I can put more things inside my tote.

A notebook, or several of them, and pens and pencils are included as I sometimes write the old school way. I also include a file folder with all the information for articles I am working on as well as the soccer schedule for both girls and the snack schedule.

I always have a couple of snacks in the bag as well as several bottles of water. Never know when the game will be going into overtime and then to penalty kicks.

Then I might or might not include my smaller laptop. It just depends on whether or not I want to deal with dragging it out to work. But even if I don’t add my laptop I still have my Alcatel Fierce XL phone that I got with my Walmart Family Mobile Plus Plan. I have been thinking awhile about getting a phone just for work, something that was bigger than my regular phone but still easy enough to use that I can read the emails on the go. Because let’s face it my eyesight is not what it used to be. (Yes I am getting old).

I will admit that I have been bobbling back and forth about this idea for a while but when I was in the electronics section of Walmart the other day, and my eyes saw the display about the Family mobile plus plan I knew that I just had to get this phone. I love that the Walmart Family Mobile Plus Plan includes Unlimited talk, text, & data which is awesome. And it is 10GB of 4G LTE for $49.88 a month which is even better. I also love that there is a free movie offered each month on VUDU. That is awesome because sometimes I need to think in the car when I am writing a post and if I get the movie for the girls, they will watch it and be quiet for a while. Plus we get a free  movie every month from VUDU( that is a $7 value) that we can not only watch on the phone but also on our smart tv.

I also love that it has more data at this value. Because sometimes my email gets so backed up that I almost have to do a mass delete but with this I can always answer and delete emails on the go.

I will have to admit that I initially didn’t want to spend extra money for a new phone but when I found out that the Alcatel Fierce XL was on rollback to $99.88 (They were originally $119.00) I thought why not. It is an investment for my business, my family, and my sanity. I did have to purchase a starter kit, but they were also on rollback from $25 to $19.88. So I saved money all around.

It was very easy to purchase and the man who checked out our purchases was very helpful. Signing up for the service was easy as well. Once I inserted the SIM card, I immediately got a voice mail which walked me through the steps. I also found out later that you can set it up online as well.
