Pasta for dessert? I know you are probably thinking have I totally lost my mind. But think about you have rice pudding so why not angel hair pasta with chocolate sauce and strawberries. After all pasta is full of carbohydrates which will fuel us for the upcoming holiday season. I mean think about it we are on the go all time from now until after the New Year. Just this week alone is a crazy week with interviews, events and prescreenings. Also looking to the holidays I wanted to cook something that might be made as a dessert for any holiday gathering that we may have. I checked out the Pasta Fits website and found a recipe that not only starred pasta but also included my addiction, chocolate. I mean who doesn’t love chocolate? I will have to admit that I was a little leary of making this dish because I have always thought of pasta as a dinner item not a dessert item. But I was mildly surprised by this recipe. Although I did have to skimp on the sour cream a little because I had forgotten that I used a lot of it for the potato enchiladas I made the week before- I mean sour cream is my crack.  And it would be so much better with fresh berries but all I could find was frozen. But this recipe will be made again in my house during the spring when I have fresh berries from the farm. Plus this recipe is so budget friendly that you can save that money to buy a new pair of shoes. Check out the recipe below to make  Chocolate & Strawberry Angel Hair  Pasta.
