Baked Ravioli

baked ravioli with salad

Since Lent has started I have been looking for alternative things to eat that don’t contain meat. Let’s face it there is just so much fish that a person can eat. Plus it helps me add more non meat options to our dinnertime as Gracie has decided that she doesn’t want to eat meat anymore or should I say that she is selective over what meat she does eat. I came across this very easy recipe using cheese ravioli that you can find in the freezer section of your grocery store. There were several varieties of ravioli I found at the grocery like spinach and cheese and some with meat. I choose cheese because basically you can’t go wrong with cheese. But you can basically pick and choose which kind you like according to your family’s taste.  That is what is so great about this recipe you  can cater it to suit your family. Plus the prep time was so easy basically it is almost like the ravioli cook themselves. This meal would also be great for those times that you forget to take something out of the freezer for dinner because you don’t have to thaw the ravioli. I also want to note that I did not use all the ravioli that were in the bag for this recipe so I am able to get two meals from one bag.
