Quick and Easy Face Washing Kit for Soccer Players

It is Gracie here. I have taken over my mom’s blog to talk to you about something that all teenagers have and that is acne. But it seems like my sister, Mikaela and I have to take extra care of our faces because not only do we have long dark hair, which can get oily, but we sweat a lot playing soccer.
And you can imagine how much acne can happen if we don’t take the time to keep our face clean. I was so excited when my mom decided to make both my sister and myself a quick and easy face washing kit. I just adore all of my mom’s ideas don’t you?
Of course, she couldn’t just get an ordinary bag for our kit, she has to make it unique. She loved putting her unique touch on everything.
- The first thing she did was get a clear bag to hold all our supplies.
- Then using a permanent marker, she drew a soccer ball on the side of the bag. Don’t worry if you aren’t an artist, the bag is clear so you can tape a picture on the inside and trace it.
- Then she added some small towels to the bag.
- Add in skincare products and we had our kit.
I love that my mommy picked up some awesome products from Walmart to put in the bag. I think Mikaela and I actually fought over who was going to get what when we were in the skincare aisle at Walmart.
Finally, we decided to try out the Acne Free products. She let us picked out two items apiece but suggested that we pick out two different items so we can share and try everything. Mikaela picked out AcneFree Sonic Advanced Cleaning Duo and Daily Skin Therapy Complexion Perfecting Cream. I got the Daily Skin Therapy Acne Wash and the Daily Skin Therapy Pads.Why did we pick Acne Free? Well, to be honest, it was so inexpensive and after all my mom is the “frugal mom.” But with the price aside, we read the labels on the products and decided on these. Mikaela picked the AcneFree Sonic Advanced Cleaning Duo because first she thought the brush was amazing. And it fit so easy into our soccer bags.
And it was also as Mikaela put it really cool. I was actually pretty mad that she picked that out but my mom reminded me we are sharing so I guess I am okay with that. The brush and the cleanser are so easy to use ( we can even use it in the shower- that’s where I normally find it because Mikaela forgets to put it back in the bag!) and we have found it quite refreshing not only to wake us up in the morning but also after a game. And the brush has such smooth, rounded touchpoints massage the face and are nonabrasive enough for daily use. I feel like I am in at spa. I will have to say that I love the fact that it was so inexpensive that I know my mom will buy it for us again. We have worked out a system that I take in my soccer bag and use it after my games, and I hand it off to her after that. Because her games are normally after my games, so that works out great. Plus I love that it clears blackheads and acne breakouts. Because let’s face it teens have to deal with that all the time. My older sister is 20 and she stills deals with it.
Then there we also use other items from AcneFree Daily Skin Therapy Line. We use the Daily Skin Therapy Acne Wash, Daily Skin Therapy Pads and the Daily Skin Therapy Complexion Perfecting Cream. The acne wash is amazing. It is certainly a pick me up in the morning. And it helps with my shiny forehead where a lot of my acne occurs. I love how it makes me feel refreshed and ready to take on the world. Then I go to the therapy pads – this is like a toner for my skin. This helps me wake up in the morning as well, plus my face feels so much smoother. And last it the complexion perfecting cream, it helps make my skin feel smooth and I don’t have to worry about it drying out when I use it.

What a great kit! Sports can be so hard on your skin. The sun, dirt, and sweat can cause a lot of break outs. It looks like you have everything to prevent those pesky breakouts.

I don’t think I’ve ever used the AcneFree brand, but I haven’t ever really struggled with acne. This is a great kit though.

Omg I remember a few years ago using this stuff!!!! It actually works too! So glad I grew out of the bad skin thing and thankfully don’t really need this whole kit anymore. Totally recommend to those who do though

My skin is really prone to acne so I’m always looking for products that will help keep them at bay!
That’s a great kit. It doesn’t matter what the sport is, when kids start playing, they get super grubby.
This is great! My girls want to get into soccer like their brothers so I’m sure this will come in handy! As they are getting older it will be helpful I’m sure too!

The kit is so cute and thoughtful of your mom to make for you! I’ll have to put together a track bag for my daughter. Her skin also gets sweaty and oily from all that running, I think these would be great products for her!
This wouldn’t just be for soccer players but this would be great for my basketball player as well. He’s been breaking out lately and I’m wondering if this would help him. I might have to pick it up and give it a try.

Sounds like a wonderful face washing kit, not just for soccer players, but for anyone involved in sports or may be someone who goes for a regular workout every day. AcneFree brand sounds like a great brand with some wonderful products & I would love to try them.
