Pumpkins with a twist

The other day I was looking at my newest addiction Pinterest and saw a unique idea that I wanted to try. I am going to have a lot of witches’ legs in my decorating this year. Here are the items that you will need to make some unique pumpkins.

  • Pumpkins ( artificial or real) I used artificial that way I can reuse them every year
  • Markers or paint ( I used a black permanent marker)
  • A pencil
  • scrap ribbon
  • hot glue gun
  • hot glue sticks

First draw your witches’ legs and shoes on the pumpkin. I admit that I am not the best artist so one of my legs was fatter than the other. Than take marker and fill in the color. Make two bows out of scrap ribbon and with your heated glue gun apply a dab of glue on the pumpkin and place the ribbon in the middle. Now you will have a unique pumpkin for your house. Here is a picture of mine. Don’t laugh I told you one of my witches’ legs was fatter than the other.

  1. Love it! I also like the idea of reusable pumpkins. I am bad at crafts, so if I get it right I don’t want to have to redo it every year, LOL.

  2. Cute! I have so many things pinned for Halloween – I hope I have the time (and creative drive) to do a couple of them within the next week or so!

  3. I have been scouting out piterest as well for some fun and totally different things to do with pumpkins… I missed this one!! Very cool!
