New Year’s Eve Reflections

Sitting at the dining room table on New Year’s Eve, I couldn’t help but reflect on all that has happened in the past year.  Tons of blogging events, meeting new faces, making some amazing friends along the way attending my first blog conference, the Hurricane that was Matthew. Feelings of being betrayed and really missing my dad.

Looking back 2016 wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Somethings I rather forget and something I will cherish forever, especially my first blog conference with my amazing friend Laura. Even though I wasn’t able to sleep much, I still had an amazing time and would so do it all over again.

2016 also made me get my priorities in the right place and making sure people come first. I also got away from the negativity that was dragging me down.

I am in a much happier place in the blogging world than I was a year ago. I think it is because I found some amazing bloggers who encourage instead of bringing someone down to build themselves up. I can count these bloggers as God’s little blessings in my life. I am so thankful that God steered me to the lovely bloggers of Carolina Blogging and Trifabb. I can’t wait to see what adventures with these awesome groups lie ahead in the new year.

Looking back, I realize that I learned a lot in the last year. So glad that 2016 has ended but looking forward to building this blog and doing bigger and better things. One of the things I am doing to help this goal is to become more organized in my workspace and finding a set time of each day to research and learn more about ways to take the blog to the next level. Here is a sneak peek of a future blog post about my new workspace.
