I have a love hate relationship with my hair. Sometimes it loves me and sometimes I think that it sole purpose on this earth is to torture me. Today however it is a good hair day why because I just got it cut yesterday. So it knows it better behave. But there are sometimes when I wish that I could shave my head and go bald. (Not that I would actually do that mind you, but I have had those thoughts.) But for those times that I have had those thoughts, I have thought about getting hair extensions put in. Imagine the surprised look that I would get if one day my hair was short like it is now and then the next day I show up with this hair weave in.
Can you imagine the shocked looks that I would be getting if I actually did that? That is the fun part about being a girl we can change our hair, our clothes and even our makeup to achieve a different look.Like just yesterday I did something that was so unlike me. I got a purple streak put in my hair.
Why purple you ask? Well this purple streak represents three people that are near and dear to my heart. One is to honor the memory of my sweet daddy who left us at the beginning of the year. Cancer was the cause of his death and purple is the universal color for all cancers. The next one is for my mom. Did you know that purple is also the color for those who care for those who suffer from cancer? And lastly but probably the most important reason I have a purple streak is for my youngest Gracie. Purple is the color for Epilepsy Awareness. March 26 is Epilepsy Awareness day so you need to wear purple even if it is your hair weave.
