The Lighter Side of Austin da Luz
As promised here it is lighter side of the Austin da Luz story. First let me share a few Youtube Videos with you. The first one was an interview that he did at the beginning of the year when he was signed with Orlando City SC.
Do you think K’esha needs to be worried about her job? Don’t you just love when people aren’t afraid to have a little fun? And then of course there are those Railhawks on the Road episodes that he filmed last year when he was the captain. Not only can you see his sense of humor but also the sense of humor of others on the team. ( Julius and Austen are both on this video)
I think the players are a hoot.

And they do movie reviews too!! But then of course there is his secret desire to be a superhero. A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle to be exact. In his own words who wouldn’t want to be eating tons of pizza and kicking butt seems like a pretty good life. Maybe the Carolina Railhawks should change their name to the Carolina Mutant Ninja Railhawks. I mean they already have a goalie with a nickname “Irish Ninja”. Plus I think the guys would look good in those masks. Just check out da Luz wearing his.
As fans we all might need to be to worried because his favorite player, Eric Cantona is one that is known to drop kick fans in the stands- Do you see some Ninja Turtle coming out there? Actually it is his unpredictability that Austin admires.
He changes his hairstyle more than most people change their clothes. Just check it out.
Oh and let’s not forget the bromance between Akira, Zack and Austin. I am sure there are more stories to tell and those three on the desert island I am sure there would not be a dull moment until they were rescued. And throwing Austen King in the mix (all I have to say is that would be a great concept for a television show.)
Did you know that he has a celebrity look alike? Jake Gyllenhaal anyone.
Which brings me to the next thing maybe that is why he loves Taylor Swift music so much. Maybe he doubled as Jake and Swift’s new song “Shake It Off” which Austin’s feel like that is a pretty good mantra to live by, is actually about him. I mean a player’s got play, play, play!! Seriously thanks Austin for being so sweet and such a great guy. I have really enjoyed getting to know you better.
No in all seriousness folks, he is a really a good natured guy who has the great ability to be able to laugh at himself. And loves to joke and kid with his fans, just this year he asked my daughters’ the question “Do you still not like me yet? “ Laughing the whole time as he said it.
