Last Night Was Amazing

How many times have you heard that? But get your minds out of the gutter,  I was talking about my family’s trip to the Circus. This was the first time most of us had been. Gracie and I went with the school when she was in second grade so this was our second time. When we got to the RBC Center we went to will call to pick up our tickets. At that point we did not know where our seats would be. Maddie, my 16 year old, was so excited. She told all her friends she was going to the circus. LOL yep she is a big clown. Our seats were amazing right in the middle where all the action takes place.
Here are the girls before the show started. Notice Beary came with us also. All smiles wanting for the show to start. We got there an hour before the show to see the preshow. You are allowed to go down on the arena floor and mix and mingle with the performers and watch them perform.
Here is our favorite part. Asia the Elephant painting. I have a soft spot for elephants because Dumbo is one of my favorite Disney movies.
Now let the show begin. We were treated with some awesome talents and feats. Here are just a few
This is one of my favorite parts. At the beginning of the show they asked everyone to raise and sing the National Anthem while the elephant carried out the flag. That was so awesome.
Have you ever seen an horse walk on it’s hind legs??
We had a great time at the circus and  I will be  spotlighting some of our favorites throughout the weekend. This was definetly an awesome way to spend a night of great family fun. There was something for everyone. The teenagers now have crushes on some of the circus performers and Gracie said that one of the little horses reminded her of Allie. Okay a horse reminded her of a dog. My husband who many of you know is a native of Mexico was probably the biggest kid with us all night. I don’t think I have seen him smile and laugh so hard in a long time. The funniest thing to him was (and this is gross but that is a man for you) when the elephant was pooping and the lady was trying to catch it with a shovel. Somehow I got to capture this on camera not him laughing but the pooping. Maddie thought they were feeding the elephants. LOL
I know gross right  but I know you secretly want to thank me for sharing that with you.
