Keeping Warm This Winter Giveaway

Fall is here and with that comes the drop in temperatures. I would be lying if I said that I liked the cold weather. I would rather be snuggled under several blankets then outside in the cold. With that said, let me tell you about a new love of mine. (Don’t tell my husband, I am cheating on him, because he is a furnace himself. Talk about hot stuff.) This new love has three levels- low, medium and high. It keeps me warm anytime I have it on. I am talking about my new Sunbeam Electric Blanket. I was so excited when I received this as a review. I had always envied my friends who had one when I was growing up. This blanket is super soft. Yep folks it is softer than a baby’s butt. LOL. I literally have to tear myself out from under this blanket just to get any work done. (Housework that is – blogging work you can find this blanket across my lap.)

I loved that the quality of the material is so much better than those that my friends had. Remember those scratchy blankets. I also love that the controls were very well marked and easy to see as well as navigate. Instead of turning a dial you just have to push a button to select which setting you would like. There are three settings as I said before- low, medium and high. I will have to admit that I could never get it past low before I started sweating. Hey, maybe that is another way to get those unwanted pounds off.

I love the plushness of the blanket as well and so did my daughters. In fact I had to practically fight my middle daughter to get to use it. If only everything would be that soft. Honestly folks, I can say that the quality is totally amazing.

So now I have to ask you a question- would you like one? What do you? Then all you need to do to enter is use the rafflecopter form below.

  1. This looks like a great blanket. My family would love this because I keep my air conditioner on at night and my family is usually freezing – lol

  2. I try to stay in as much as possible. I am not a cold weather person. I enjoy reading and sitting by the fireplace.
    Thank you!

  3. Sounds fantastic. I am ok in my fluffy housecoat, but this would be great to get snuggly warm in..

  4. We tend to do a lot more inside activities! Boardgames, reading, movies, cooking new recipes, and lots of arts and crafts! Sometimes it’s just too freezing to be outside!

  5. We rely primarily on space heaters at night. I did the math and is is cheaper to run 425 N 73rd St space heaters in three bedrooms at night rather than heat the whole house with a furnace.

  6. I love to cuddle up in a blanket and read during the winter months. An electric blanket would totally rock!

  7. Living here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, we have at least five months of cold, wintry weather. We have already had three snowfall events, so going out is challenging. Hubby and I like to stay in and watch movies or cook together. Our son is always on the slopes skiing, he enjoys the winter 🙂

  8. I tend to hibernate a bit. We have a real fireplace and so often use that, and watch tv and movies.

  9. In Wisconsin I try to stay warm as much as I can . I have wanted a Sunbeam Electric Blanket for a long time. It gets so cold at night it’s really hard to keep warm .
I hope I win this Sunbeam Electric Blanket.

    Thanks

  10. Well now that i live in Ohio i try to do as little as possible with anything involving going outdoors. Its been freezing here already.

  11. In the Winter I have to layer my clothes just to be inside! We live in a home that is over 125 years old and it’s always cold in here! It doesn’t help that my husband keeps the heat at 68 degrees because he wants to conserve oil! I honestly don’t do too much in the winter because I hate going out in the dark and I definitely hate the cold! I do go out and shovel after a snow but that’s about it! Thanks, Michele 🙂
