Join Me This Weekend at the Wow Summit #WowSummit
I am so excited I am less than a few days away from the Wow Summit. I will admit that I am a little scared about attending. This is my first big blogging experience. But I am also extremely excited. Excited to meet new people, experience new things and excited to spend time away with one of my best friends, Laura.
It seems like this was made possible because I decided instead of trying to plan everything out I was going to let go and let God. This opportunity fell into my lap, and I totally know that it was sent by Him.
I will admit that I am a little nervous about meeting new people, not knowing what to say. You know that awkward social silence. But God knows better than I and sent me this message in the book, Uninvited, that I was reading.
You aren’t set aside. You are set apart. To be set apart is to be given an assignment that requires preparation.
And I am determined to be one who seeks out the person that is sitting by themselves and make them feel less lonely. I am committed to network and connect. This is the opportunity that I waited for to come along.
And I think picking Laura to go with me was a perfect choice. Because with Laura, I have to be that outgoing person. She forces me out of my shell and lets me know that it is okay to be myself.
