But not naughty enough to be put on Santa’s list. What am I talking about? I am talking about a little sex appeal into your everyday wardrobe. Nice girls like me tend to downplay all their assets and often get overlooked even in the workplace. There is a book on the market called Naughty Makeovers for Nice Girls by Dimitri James.

I know what you are thinking Dimitri that’s a guy name; I know what naughty means to most guys. But this book is not at all like that. It is all about leaving things to the imagination and not looking trashy or like you ready to earn some money on the corner. In this book James creates a finishing school for common folks, so that we can live the lifestyle of the rich and famous without all the money. The book is split into sections. These sections include Naughty at Work, Naughty First Date, Naughty Traveler and Yummy Mommy. It is all about dressing outside of the box and to revamp your beauty regime with just a few tricks of the trade.

I found this book quite informative. There were a lot of little tidbits that I could use. For instance did you know that shoulders look young at any age and that if you are a cougar they may be your best feature. So play it up. That and many more tips on dress styles, makeup and traveling tips can be found in this book. I love the illustrations in this book. James illustrates the three ways of dress: the nice girl ( who I am very guilty of being),

 

 

The trashy girl ( who is way over the top)

 

And the naughty girl ( who is just right).
