Give a Mouse A Cupcake Printable

Want to spruce up a boring cupcake but don’t want to spend a lot of money on it. Then, boy, do I have a solution for you. First, take a simple cupcake mix and make cupcakes according to the directions on the box.

Then add a dollop or two of frosting. And here comes the secret ingredient – the topper. Now I know that anyone can go to the store and buy toppers but have you ever thought about making your own. And if you know me you know I am all about putting my unique touch on everything.

Now that you have done that you need to assemble them. Cut out the printables ( there is a front and a back to these ) and then glue or tape them onto toothpicks.

(Here is a little secret – I hunted high and low in my house for toothpicks and remembered that when I was on cleaning spree a few months back, I had thrown out all of the toothpicks as they were all over the drawer. But I did find these little plastic spoons. So I decided to use those instead. And guess what they worked just fine. So remember to think out of the box when it comes to recipes and presentation.)

These cupcakes were a hit at my daughter’s 18th birthday party. They actually had a special meaning to them. You see my dad always called her Mick Mouse and knowing that there was a mouse on the cupcakes let her know that he was there with us in spirit helping to celebrate her birthday.
