Give Me A Head Full of Hair

There’s a song that goes

Give me a head with hair, long beautiful hair

Shining, gleaming, streaming, flaxen, waxen

Give me down to there, hair, shoulder length or longer

Not sure exactly what the song is or who sings it but it always makes me envious of women with long hair. Not used to wear my hair shorter because one is so freaking thick that it’s so hot during the summer,  and two because when it’s longer it’s heavier and I tend to get more migraines.

But that doesn’t mean that I don’t envy the women with long hair. when I have long hair it was so easy I could just pull it up in a ponytail or braid, and I was ready to go. Heck, I give you been pulling up in a baseball cap not anymore. But sometimes I wonder and wish that I have that long hair again luckily there are things called hair extensions that will allow me for just a few hours to have those long flowing locks.

I was surprised when I was looking at a website the other day on how many kinds of hair that is available for women today. Think about the options,  especially for those that suffer from cancer period when my sister had chemotherapy and lost all her hair she only had one choice, and that was to wear a headscarf. To this day I still have her scarf even though I don’t wear it I look at it and think about her and all the crazy things you used to do.

But I so know that she would rock hair extensions like Beyonce. I was surprised to find out that they were four different types of hair extensions that could be used. 

The first one is human hair extensions; I think that one’s pretty self-explanatory it comes from human hair.  The second one is the clip in hair extensions, I remember as a little girl I would love going to birthday parties, or we have that little piece of hair that was like a Barbie doll hair that you can clip in.  Boy, I thought I was hot stuff.

Then there is tape in hair extensions to be honest with you I’ve never heard of that one before, but I think I might investigate it a little bit more.  And then there are hair extensions that are called Fusion Hair Extensions. These bonds with your hair which I think would probably be the best choice because you don’t have to worry about somebody pulling out your weave like they do on the Real Housewives. But I will have to say I envy those women with long hair. Why?
