Conceal Don’t Feel! Stealth Towers Revealed

Did you know that there are 21 cell phone towers to everyone McDonalds in the United States? You are probably asking yourself the question wow that many how come I can’t see them? Well because they concealed so well that you can be looking right at them and not even be aware of what you are looking.
Just last week, my husband and I took a ride to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was a long overdue trip to celebrate our anniversary. The drive down took us about 2 hours, but it was time well spent. It has been a long time since we had spent any time together without any of the girls. We have gotten so busy with work that we seem not to be able to find some time to celebrate our anniversary. So this trip came at the right time.
We travelled down to King’s Highway enjoying the sights of Myrtle Beach. We came across the Carolina Opry, which is a home to the tower that is wearing a disguise. Just check out the picture and see if you can find it.
Can you spot it? Normally when you think of towers you think of steel towers but not this one. The cell phone towers are concealed by the cupola. It does not take away from the scenic landscape and is disguised to blend into the community. So no ugly steel towers that are such an eyesore. Communities have a better way to conceal what used to be considered eyesores but now are a thing of beauty. Check out this great infographic for disguising cell towers.
Now look at the picture again and the conceal cell tower is in the cupola on top of the building.
I was so impressed with this I had to take a #Stealthie in front of it. Do you know what a #stealthie is? It is taking a picture in front of a camouflaged stealth cell tower. Just check it out.
Now I challenge you to look around your neighborhood and find a hidden cell tower?And if you are seeking to put a cell tower near you then you consider concealing it. So tell me have you ever seen a stealth tower?

What a neat idea that is. I bet there are tons of hidden cell phone towers around that I have no idea about.
I am happy to see they are concealing those ugly towers. But, I guess I wouldn’t complain much if they didn’t. I would complain more if I couldn’t get service.
So nice. Much less of an eyesore. I suppose I knew they were everywhere but never really looked for them. I am used to the big ugly ones.

Wow, I had no idea these towers were in so many places and were concealed? But I guess it’s a good idea, so that they are not eyesores!

Cell phone towers can be such an eye sore. What a great way to conceal it. Here by me they make ours look like pine trees.
I’m sure I have seen them and just didn’t know it! Now I will be on the lookout for stealth towers!
I have never heard of the term stealthie, what a funny play on selfie; I don’t think there are any towers like that near me!
Lol. I bet when I walk now, I will be looking up. I have not noticed any stealth towers but thats because it never occurred to me.
I didn’t know they were able to hide them like this. I would have never thought that building housed one.

I have never noticed the hidden antennas. I think that’s great, I hate looking at those towers all over the landscape! Thanks for sharing this, I will be looking more carefully from now on!
I don’t think I’ve every seen a stealth tower but I will certainly be on the lookout for one now. It’s interesting that they exist around us.
Wow, that surprised me! I would have never of guessed that was a cell tower.
I’m sure there are lots around where I live as well but I’ve never taken the time to check them out.
I think it’s so cool that they conceal them like that. Now were are going to be playing a Where’s Waldo type game looking for them around town!

Such a great idea. Hidden antennas sounds like a best solution, but I have rarely noticed one such so far. By just having a look at the picture I can guess there should be so many hidden towers all around my locality.
How funny! Now I’ll be looking around everywhere I go, looking to see if I can spot any, lol! That’s a lot of towers out there to find. 🙂
