Celebrate Pi Day with Mini Banana Split Pies
Today is Pi Day. Yep, that dreaded math formula 3.14 is rearing its ugly head. But don’t worry if you aren’t a math genius you can still celebrate with these little pies of your own. I remember when I was a girl there is nothing I love better than going to get ice cream with my dad. In fact, there is a story that before I was born, my older sisters Sherry and Denise would get my other sister Karen to con my dad into taking them out for ice cream. (After all, she was the baby for almost three years, and then I came along.) I can see Karen and my dad having ice cream together in heaven.
I know you are probably thinking what does ice cream has to do with pie day? Because those memories of ice cream with my dad inspired the particular pie. Just like yesterday’s recipe, this is also kid friendly.
What are these pies called, you ask? Why they are Banana Split Pies. Just follow these simple instructions and you will have pies within minutes.
