This past Friday night was a magical night filled with mystery, candlelight, and even a few princesses. And the setting was magical as while, I mean how could it not be at Coco Darlings . Coco Darlings is a party place in Goldsboro, NC that caters mostly to little girls but does do parties for other ages and genders as well. (My readers can use the code bloggingprincess for 15% off their party)  In fact, they were the host of this party, especially for bloggers. That is where the mystery comes in bloggers converged from all across the state anxiously wondering if they were going to fit in and if they were going to meet new people.

This was an event held in conjunction with the North Carolina Bloggers Network (NCBN) and hosted by yours truly, Adventures of Frugal Mom and entirely sponsored by Courtney Churakos of Coco Darlings and Misty Allen of Memories Creative Photography.

I arrived early, and as always Courtney did an amazing job with the setup. She had apple cider mimosas, Carmel Apple Sangrias, and a nonalcoholic Golden Apple Punch for us to drink. And then the food was to die for, just read the list, Smoked Gouda Pimento Cheese with assorted crackers, Artichoke Dip with Pita Chips, Kahlua Brown Sugar and Pecan Baked Brie, Spinach – Artichoke Bites, and mozzarella, tomato and Basil with Balsamic Glaze.

And of course since Coco Darling’s is a place where every girl can be a princess we had some special guest Tink and Snow. They were on hand to welcome each blogger as they signed in. Each blogger was able to get their picture taken with the special guests just look at how amazing the pictures turned out. Here is the picture of Snow and Tink putting their input on everyone’s blogs.

And then, of course, they all had to get one with Snow and Tink in front of Coco Darling’s Step and Repeat.

There were bloggers of all ages and experience in attendance. Some that haven’t yet started on the blogging journey, some that have just started blogging, some that have been blogging for a short time and others that have been blogging for years. But in this room, we were all the same. A wonderful room full of women who were there to encourage and help each other become a better blogger.

It is so important as bloggers to have a support system of fellow bloggers that you ask questions and get advice from them. I mean yes your family is an important support system, but they don’t understand when you start talking about SEO, bounce rates, page views, etc. I know I would totally be lost with those I call my blogging BFF’s.

Sarah from The Hot Mess Kitchen is one I go to when nothing I seem to do works. Kathi from Miss Everchanging is one that encourages me to take trips aka adventures. Lee from Wine & Couture is one that encourages me to get in front of the camera.  And finally,  Laura from 27 Words is one that gets me to talk when no one else seems to be able to.

I will have to say that I am very pleased with how this event turned out and I can’t wait for more events in the future.  But before I go I want to share with you the amazing group picture that was taken by the staff from Memories Creative Photography of the event.
