Big Hero 6 Family Friendly Movie
Disclosure: I attended a pre-screening of this movie in exchange for a review. No other compensation was provided. All opinions expressed are 100% mine.
With the weather getting chilly there is nothing better I like to than curl up with a good movie. But sometimes it is great to get out of the house before cabin fever sets in. Well you are in luck I have a great movie that you can see with the whole family and as an added plus it is in theaters now. Big Hero 6 is a cute movie from Disney that not only teaches that revenge is not the best way to deal with loss but also teaches that we all grieve in our own way.
If you haven’t heard of this movie before I think you must be living under a rock. But just in case here is a brief summary of the movie.
From Walt Disney Animation Studios, the team behind “Frozen” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” comes “Big Hero 6,” an action-packed comedy-adventure about the special bond that develops between Baymax (voice of Scott Adsit), a plus-sized inflatable robot, and prodigy Hiro Hamada (voice of Ryan Potter). When a devastating event befalls the city of San Fransokyo and catapults Hiro into the midst of danger, he turns to Baymax and his close friends adrenaline junkie Go Tomago (voice of Jamie Chung), neatnik Wasabi (voice of Damon Wayans Jr.), chemistry whiz Honey Lemon (voice of Genesis Rodriguez) and fanboy Fred (voice of T.J. Miller). Determined to uncover the mystery, Hiro transforms his friends into a band of high-tech heroes called “Big Hero 6.” Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring breathtaking action with all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”).
Recently my two youngest daughters and I attended the prescreening of Big Hero 6 in Raleigh. It was a great mommy/daughter date that really got us to enjoy each other’s company. Both the girls and I loved the movie. Even though there were certain parts that made the girls mad. But all and all it was very cute family friendly movie.
And Baymax was so cute. I see a line of stuffed animals coming out in the future of this cutie. My favorite part in the whole movie was when he does the fist bump. So if you are looking for a family friendly movie then check out Big Hero 6 which opened in theaters yesterday.
