Anarchy Reigns #FinalRide

anarchy reigns final ride

As I am sitting here, I am wondering what I am going to do with my Tuesday nights now. Most of you will be surprised to know that I watch (or show I say) watched Sons of Anarchy. This show was so perverted that you could not help but watch just to see what would happen next.

I mean this show was all about chaos and mayhem. It dealt with drugs, money, prostitution, gun running, family, prison life, rape, murder and family among other things. So now you are probably asking why I watched this show.

Because besides all of this- the main theme behind it all is love. A mother’s loved for her son, a dad’s love for his sons, a love between a man and a woman, the love of friends who become family to one another. Yes this show did deal with a lot of ugliness had love as its core value.

This season has been one crazy one as it was the show’s finale. A mother, Gemma, sacrificed herself so that her son would not be harmed. As the line goes “You have my permission to do this. I love you but this is who we are son you have to do this.” Allowing her son to have peace before he shoots her for killing his wife in a fit of rage.

And finally at the end of the series, where Jax makes the final sacrifice to drive in front of an 18 wheeler- so that his sons will have a life that is different from the ones that he had.

Although I didn’t like the way it ended I can appreciate a parent’s love and being willing to sacrifice themselves so that their children can have a better life. I know as parents, my husband and I often go without so that our girls will have more than we did. We made the decision a long time ago for me to stay at home and raise the girls. It is one thing that we don’t regret. Sure they might now have all the things their friends do but they have something better- each other.

So tell me did you watch Sons of Anarchy? If so what did you think of the finale and who was your favorite character?
